How to link the two objects Mask of Tutankhamun and Cigar together?

A narration was created thematically based on the legend of the curse of the pharaoh, through which, the one who excavates a dead king will forever disappear. Hereby a story is created around the actual archeologist who had led the excavation process of Tutankhamun. In order to create a visual narration real photographic facts were mixed with invented graphic elements in order to make it difficult for the viewer to keep reality and fiction apart. As I came across images from 1923 in which the archeologist is portrayed smoking, i was able to spin a tale around the cigar being filled with opium. In this sense for the media implementation of the word cigar, I decided to create a film of smoke and whiskey being poured, underlaid with the actual voice of the archeologist. A narrative installation was created through which the viewer is able to walk through in order to combine elements and hints together and possibly find out about Howard Carter’s disappearance.
